And when it comes to Zürich they are everywhere. One of the first things you notice about Zürich is its ubiquitous supermarkets and even within the same chain, the size, atmosphere and range of products varies dramatically according to the character of the area they are in.
I promised you an 'alternative insiders guide' and so this blog will introduce you to the city through its supermarkets, in particular the Coop. Over the coming weeks and months, I will visit every Coop store within the city of Zurich. It's going to be a fun journey!
